From POV of Insurance Buyer

  • Reduce the waiting time that the insurance buyers experience 

  • To enhance the overall insurance policy buying experience for customers

  • To find the best-fit policy that matches their exact need

From POV of Risk Advisor

  • Simplify the overall Quote-Bind-Issue (QBI) process for risk advisors, when on call with the insurance buyer

  • Create opportunities to bring in new customers by optimising the response time with existing customers

  • To enable the risk advisors to service more leads on a daily basis

Our Approach

User Research

Conducted preliminary user research to understand the risk advisor’s challenges, needs and wants. Methods included one-on-one interviews that helped shaped our understanding of the end users.

Design Workshop Activities

The design workshop was targeted to identify the needs of the business users. The business users know and were able to identify that the risk advisors were facing certain roadblocks in the QBI process. The main goal of the business user is to achieve a higher policy close rate and this would be possible only by streamlining the QBI process.

With a renewed vision statement we helped craft a business workflow that enabled the sales centre expedite its targets through a streamlined and simplified quote-bind-issue process.

The team successfully captured the business vision which I was able to present back to the leadership team. This helped us to communicate the value of the solution that we were going to build and gave us confidence to move forward with development.
